Come to our Big Spring Book Sale Event inside the Westport Library! Choose from thousands of gently used books in over 50 categories, for readers of all ages, plus vintage children’s and antiquarian books, audio books, CDs, vintage vinyl, DVDs, ephemera, and framed artworks.
Book Sale Hours - Free Admission:
- Friday, May 15th -- 12 pm to 6 pm (please note Noon start time)
- Saturday, May 16th -- 9 am to 5 pm
- Sunday, May 17th -- 11 am to 5 pm - HALF PRICE DAY
- Monday, May 18th -- 9 am to 4 pm -- FILL OUR LOGO BAG FOR $10 each or your bag for $8, or buy individual items for half-price (your choice)

- New to our big sale? This is our largest one, typically held twice a year by Friends of the Reston Regional Library
- We offer 30,000 items, in over 20 categories
- No kids books at this sale but honestly just about everything else. Gently used books at amazing prices and all to help our library and expand and improve access and resources for everyone in our community. Not bad, huh?
- (Teens and adults are welcome, but we recommend small kids take a pass on this one; it's quite big, there are books under the tables, and shoppers set aside large bags and baskets in a lot of the small spaces.)

- During our sale, we close down much of our online store and bring the inventory to the sale, at a discounted rate.

- To avoid backlogs and confusion, we reserve the right to require buyers of large quantities to periodically pay for items and remove them from the building.
- A BOOK OFF THE TABLE IS CONSIDERED SOLD. Be sure of your selections. You may not remove a pile of books to another area of the sale to 'review' before deciding which ones you wlll buy.
- NO carts, strollers, or wagons may be used in the Main Room.
- Scanners (handheld, finger held, cyborg eyes, and any other price checking devices) are not permitted in some sectinos, including CDs, DVDs, and Charly's Corner.
- Credit cards are accepted.
